About Move Your Lymph
The Move Your Lymph sessions are designed to help you learn ways to stimulate the lymphatic system and to try these out in an individual or group guided setting.
Sessions typically include gentle movements, breathing and stretching. All levels welcome and modifications provided where possible for individual needs.
Sessions are in English, with conversational abilities in Flemish and French.
Individual private sessions
I also offer private sessions that combine guided teaching with practical exercises personalised just for you – to get you and your lymphatic system moving.

Held online (via Zoom) or in-person (residential location just outside of Leuven, Belgium). If in-person, the room is on the ground level and has a nice view of trees and a garden. There is a spot for parking your car or bike and there are nearby bus stops. If the weather is nice and you would like to, we can also do some movements outside!

What is the lymphatic system?
Our lymphatic system is an important part of our body and helps protect us from disease and infection. Body movement and exercise can help lymph fluid move through our various systems and deep breathing can also help fluids circulate.
Why am I offering this program?

I have experienced my own health challenges that have resulted in me having a double mastectomy which meant that part of my valuable lymphatic network was removed. Edema therapy and lymphatic drainage massage combined with physiotherapist consultations (kine) have helped me gradually learn how to rebalance and strengthen my body. A process that has not been easy and continues.
What was missing for me was how to bring this knowledge into every day life, and I’m sure I am not alone.
I have designed this program based on my own learning and with inspiration from therapists at the LYMFECENTRUM RUELENSVEST 29 in Leuven. My training as a certified yoga and mindfulness trainer means that I have a good understanding of the body and what it means to be in touch with and listen (or not listen!) to it. And to recognize, respect and work with limits – imagined or real.
You can read more about me here and also about the collaboration and how the program developed.
